It’s a family affair for the franchisees bringing the Batteries Plus chain back to Long Island.
Audrey Lewis, along with her two sons and daughter, held a grand opening this week at their new Batteries Plus store in Huntington Station. The 1,400-square-foot location at 169 Walt Whitman Road marks the area return of the concept, after other franchisees closed their Batteries Plus store in Commack a couple of years ago.
The Lewis family, which has a three-store deal with the Hartland, Wisc.-based franchise, plans to open two more stores in Nassau County within the next two years.
