SYDNEY, N.S. — The future is looking sunnier these days for Brian Rose.
The owner of Appleseed Energy Inc., a solar energy equipment supplier on Janvrin Island in Richmond County, said he has “definitely” seen an uptick in business, especially since amendments to the Electricity Act regarding solar energy were announced two weeks ago.
“We’re super busy right now,” Rose said in a phone interview with the Cape Breton Post. “I don’t know if it’s just the time of the year or the amendment change or what, but certainly people are starting to think about the future, about decarbonizing our economy and stuff.”
