Taiwan Cement (TCC) has set up the first EV-use power charging station in DAKA via cooperation with President Chain Store, the operator of 7-Eleven convenience store chain in Taiwan, according to the company.DAKA is an ecological exhibition center established by TCC inside its cement plant in Hualien, eastern Taiwan.The EV-use power charging station is operated by TCC’s subsidiary operator of energy storage systems, NHΩA.TCC, and features 100% use of electricity generated by a rooftop PV system inside the cement plant and combination with an energy storage system also inside the cement plant, TCC chairman Nelson Chang said.
