EVLO 1000 battery energy storage system

March 3, 2022 – EVLO launched what it calls its most-advanced battery energy storage system.The EVLO 1000 is a 1-MWh BESS designed mainly for electricity generators, and transmission providers and distributors. The system suits a variety applications, says EVLO, including renewable energy integration, microgrids, peak shaving, backup power and grid resilience.The BESS uses no cobalt nor rare earth elements, says EVLO. Instead, it uses patented lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) batteries that promise better thermal and chemical stability than traditional batteries.
