Plug Power, a U.S.-based hydrogen fuel cell provider, has acquired Applied Cryo Technologies, which offers technology, equipment, and services for the transportation, storage, and distribution of liquified hydrogen and other cryogenic gases.The company said the acquisition would add capabilities, expertise, and technologies, including a liquid hydrogen delivery network and fleet, liquid hydrogen storage, and hydrogen mobility fueling. This would help the company expand its green hydrogen ecosystem and lower the cost of hydrogen infrastructure and logistic networks.Plug Power has also developed a ‘hydrogen highway’ across the United States, including 165 refueling stations for fleets of hydrogen-powered trucks, forklifts, and electric mobility vehicles in commercial industries across the country.
