February 2, 2023 Uma Gupta India’s Greenko Group today signed an agreement to purchase 28 units of 5 MW alkaline electrolyzers from Belgium’s John Cockerill for use in the development of a green ammonia plant in Una, Himachal Pradesh.Greenko order builds on its existing partnership with John Cockerill, including joint development of a 2 GW per year electrolyzer manufacturing plant in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.The 300 metric tonnes per day plant is being jointly developed by Greenko ZeroC (GZC), a subsidiary of Greenko Group, and John Cockerill.
