Joint Base Lewis-McChord Receives Iron Dome Batteries | Resistance Planned F-16s Sale To Turkey

AmericasBell Boeing won a $23.4 million modification, which exercises options to provide continued flight test support for the V-22 aircraft in support of the Navy, Air Force, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Maryland; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Fort Worth, Texas; and Hurlburt Field, Florida, and is expected to be completed in January 2024. The V-22 Osprey is a joint-service, medium-lift, multimission tilt-rotor aircraft developed by Boeing and Bell Helicopters. Boeing is responsible for the fuselage, landing gear, avionics, electrical and hydraulic systems, performance and flying qualities.The US Army has decided that the two Iron Dome batteries will be sent to Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) in Washington while the service figure out where the final deployment location will be.
