India on the path to Green energy, add green hydrogen to energy sources
India is planning to expand their production of green hydrogen. The government has made this decision to curb its dependence on energy imports. Additionally, increased Green Hydrogen production will reduce the country’s dependency on fossil fuels. Thus, India will receive the much-needed boost towards the green energy transition.
In an interview with Strata News Global, the Minister of Petroleum and natural gas, Hardeep Puri, called green hydrogen the fuel of the future. He made this declaration when the interviewer asked him about India’s plan for a green-energy transition.
