OTPC and APDCL Join Forces to Develop 250 MW Battery Energy Storage in Assam

Thursday’s MoU between ONGC Tripura Power Company Limited (OTPC) and Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) was to develop a 250 MW battery energy storage system. The project will require an investment of Rs. 2,000 Cr.

Sanil C Namboodiripad, OTPC Managing director, and Rakesh Kumar, APDCL Managing Direct, signed the agreement in the presence of Nandita Gorlosa, Assam Minister for Power, Cooperation, Mines and Minerals, Indigenous & Tribal Faith and Cultural Department, Guwahati.
