ORANGE — Of 19 articles on the Special Town Meeting warrant Thursday night, voters were most torn over a zoning article that sought to place a temporary moratorium on stand-alone, large-scale battery energy storage systems.The proposal was the only one of the 19 articles to not pass at the Special Town Meeting held in Town Hall’s Ruth B. Smith Auditorium.“This moratorium is misguided,” said resident George Hunt, beginning the discussion on Article 13.
