Shanghai (Gasgoo)- CATL announced on Oct. 18 its cooperation with Primergy Solar LLC (“Primergy”), a U.S.-based owner and operator of utility and distributed scale solar and energy storage facilities. The two parties signed a battery supply agreement for the Gemini Solar + Storage Project near Las Vegas, Nevada, with a total of US$1.2 billion planned to be poured.Upon completion, the Gemini will be one of the largest operational solar and energy storage projects in the U.S., with a 690 MWac/966 MWdc solar array and a 1,416 MWh energy storage system, according to CATL’s announcement.
