Bresnahan, Carr discuss wind, solar energy at Pine Township meetings

PINE TOWNSHIP — Once again, two competing Montcalm County commissioners found themselves talking about the locally controversial topic of renewable energy during a township board meeting.
Commissioner Kathy Bresnahan of Pine Township, a Democrat, attended Monday evening’s Pine Township Planning Commission meeting, while Commissioner Patrick Q. Carr of Cato Township, a Republican, attended the Pine Township Board meeting which followed.
