$15M hub for clean energy programs headed to The Beach at UNO

A new hub for green hydrogen planning will be located at The Beach at UNO.

Formerly known as UNO Research & Technology Park, the 30-acre site adjacent to the University of New Orleans will be home to the New Energy Center of the U.S., known as NEXUS, a news release said. It will feature classrooms, innovation labs, offices, co-working spaces and conference rooms for corporate partners, entrepreneurs and professionals working on technologies around green hydrogen.
NEXUS will house several projects in H2theFuture, a Louisiana clean hydrogen energy initiative that was recently awarded $50 million through the federal government’s Build Back Better grant program to jumpstart America’s clean hydrogen economy.
