Savannah River National Lab receives $3 million for hydrogen storage and production research | Savannah River Site

The Savannah River National Laboratory has received a $3 million grant from the Department of Energy.The national laboratory located at the Savannah River Site announced Thursday that it had received an award from the Department of Energy Office of Science Basic Energy Science Program for continued research to develop hydrogen storage and production technologies. The research effort is led by national laboratory researcher Patrick Ward, Yury Gogotsi from Drexel University, Kah Chun Lau from Cal State Northridge and Paul Weiss from UCLA. The grant to the national laboratory is part of $540 million awarded by the Department of Energy to universities and national laboratories for research into clean energy technologies and low-carbon…
