PHE Power Solutions has cooperated with US-based Fluence to set up energy storage systems in Taiwan, while PV power-generating station investor and operator HD Renewable Energy is doing so by establishing a subsidiary, Star Renewable Energy, according to the companies.PHE began strategic cooperation with Fluence, a joint venture of Siemens and US-based electricity supplier AES, to set up an energy storage system with an installed capacity of 100MW in eastern Taiwan for AFC (automatic frequency control) ancillary services.
