Toyota exhibits hydrogen fuel cell car, offers up to 640km range

Toyota presented its hydrogen fuel cell vehicle at the ongoing Auto Expo 2023 event in Greater Noida. Running on hydrogen, Toyota Mirai can give a range of up to 640 kms in full tank. The company has brought this car to India as a pilot project for hydrogen cars. It is believed that the cost of running a km from this comes only one rupee, reports Live Hindustan.Toyota Mirai is an Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV). A hydrogen tank has been given in it, there is a reaction between oxygen and hydrogen extracted from the atmosphere, due to which electricity is generated. This drives the electric motor and then the car. According to the report, it has 3 hydrogen tanks that can be filled in just 5 minutes.
