MORE-THREATENING STATEMENTS FROM EUROPE: Europe is sounding less conciliatory and more hostile about the rules clean energy subsidies in the Inflation Reduction Act favoring U.S. production.
French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire escalated the rhetoric Monday, calling for all options to be available in response, including new rules favoring European production or a World Trade Organization complaint.
