Plug Power starts construction of Peachtree green hydrogen project


Plug Power has started construction of Peachtree green hydrogen project in Kingsland, Georgia, S&B Engineers and Constructors (S&B) said.
The plant will utilize Plug’s electrolysis technology to produce green hydrogen, which will be liquefied, stored, and loaded for transport. The facility will be capable of producing 15 tons of liquefied hydrogen per day.
S&B is providing the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the Peachtree site and previously completed engineering work for Plug’s Pathfinder hydrogen test facility co-located on the site.
The Peachtree hydrogen project is expected to create more than 200 construction jobs.
