‘hydra’: zero-emission and hydrogen-powered e-bike Designer trio Anton Guzhov, Anton Brousseau and André Taylforth recently shared their vision for ‘Hydra’, a concept e-bike powered by the most abundant resource out there: H20. While traditional motorcycles run on lithium-ion batteries, this hypothetical ride is powered by hydrogen fuel cells, therefore emitting only heat and water instead of toxic fumes or leaking battery acids. While checking all the boxes in the sustainability department, it remains to be seen whether this zero-emission electric bike can be further developed into a sellable product. image courtesy of Anton Guzhov exuding cyberpunk aesthetics To simulate the workings of ‘Hydra’, the designers used Blender 3D, an open-source computer graphics software dedicated to VR, visual effects, 3D modelling, and much more.
