The European Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (EuroCham) has called for a “green” national economy in Cambodia by calling for the removal of solar power tariffs and full implementation of renewable energy. In its report ‘Position Paper on Renewable Energy in Cambodia’ released recently, EuroCham outlined how the shift to solar energy can boost the economy.
Tassilo Brinzer, Chairman of the European Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia, said, “The Royal Government’s full approval and support for the use of solar panels on roofs is a significant step towards modernising Cambodia’s manufacturing.
