Chilean power company Colbún submitted for environmental evaluation a 473MW wind farm. Work on the US$570m Junquillos project, planned for Biobío region, is penciled in to start in early 2024, according to documents filed with environmental evaluation service SEA. Colbún is currently building in Antofagasta region 812MW wind farm Horizonte, which has an associated power-purchase (PPA) agreement.
