Sakuu opened an engineering facility in Silicon Valley to bolster its battery printing operations. The manufacturer of 3D-printed, solid-state batteries hopes the facility will serve as an outline for battery printing gigafactories.
The new plant measures 79,000 square feet and will feature departments for batteries, engineering, research and development, material science, and 3D printing. Sakuu expects the site to employ 115 workers by next year.
