Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a high-level meeting on Sunday to review the energy requirements of the state and emphasised the need to promote solar power projects. He also asked the concerned authorities to prepare a new solar energy policy for the state.
Addressing the meeting, he said, “Commitment to environmental protection and promotion of non-conventional energy alternatives is necessary to meet the growing energy needs. Solar energy is a very useful medium from this point of view.
