ILI Group secures planning consent for 50MW energy storage project

Intelligent Land Investments Group (ILI) has secured planning consent for a 50MW energy storage project at Cathkin, Scotland.

Alongside its joint venture partners, Abbey Group and Yoo Energy, ILI Group now has permission to begin development of the 50MW project after it was unanimously approved at the South Lanarkshire Council planning committee on 16 August.

“We are delighted to be able to announce the consent of this project in East Kilbride and would like to thank our JV partners The Abbey Group and Yoo Energy,” said Mark Wilson, CEO of ILI Group.
