Amazon Invests in Green Hydrogen Companies in the US And Europe

E-commerce conglomerate Amazon announced new investments in green hydrogen companies through its $2 billion Climate Pledge Fund in its efforts to decarbonize global operations.
The latest investments are in the U.S.-based Electric Hydrogen and Europe-based Sunfire, both developers of electrolyzers, which is a key technology in making green hydrogen.
Amazon’s $2 billion Climate Pledge Fund targets investing in visionary companies across industries, including transportation and logistics, energy generation, storage and utilization, manufacturing and materials, circular economy, and food and agriculture.
