The national solar energy policy will be announced on August 1st, after the approval of the Council of Common Interests (CCI), according to a meeting of the energy task group.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif presided over a meeting of the energy task group that was briefed on the actions being taken to promote solar energy. Renewable solar energy is a low-cost, ecologically friendly option for generating electricity that can assist the country deal with issues such as distribution losses, power theft, and circle debt.
