The consumer meet was part of Union ministry of new and renewable energy’s Rooftop Solar Energy scheme Phase 2.NASHIK: The MSEDCL conducted a day’s workshop on rooftop solar energy system appealing to consumers to opt for the system that resulted in minimizing the energy bill despite no drop in consumption of power.
Addressing the consumer meet organised by the MSEDCL, chief engineer Nashik Zone, Deepak Kumthekar said, “Under the rooftop solar energy system the MSEDCL buys the power that is generated during the day-time and pays for the same on yearly basis.”
