Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh’s energy transition is gaining momentum with major players investing in renewable energy sources.
In the third version of the groundbreaking ceremony, investment proposals worth Rs 4,782 crore for clean energy projects were received by the state.
Due to favourable environment and cooperation extended by the state government to the investors, Uttar Pradesh has become a preferred investment destination for renewables, sustainable and green energy development.
There are 23 projects in the renewable energy sector coming up in 21 districts — Jalaun, Mau, Ballia, Azamgarh, Sitapur, Jhansi, Banda, Fatehpur, Kanpur, Noida, Auraiya, Sonbhadra, Agra, Ambedkarnagar, Badaun, Mahoba, Mirzapur, Pilibhit, Pratapgarh, Shahjahanpur, and Unnao.
