Batteries Plus, a nationwide retailer of batteries, chargers, lighting, key fobs and other gear, plans to bring 10 new locations to Riverside County over the next few years.
The move is part of the company’s nationwide expansion plans.
Joe Malmuth, the Hartland, Wisconsin-based company’s vice president of franchise development and relations, said the local expansion makes sense in light of Riverside County’s hot summer weather.
“Heat can kill batteries faster than cold weather, so Batteries Plus will thrive in Riverside County,” Malmuth said in a statement.
