Hygenco commissions green hydrogen pilot plant powered by off-grid solar  – pv magazine India

India-based Hygenco has set up a green hydrogen generation plant on a build-own-operate basis in Madhya Pradesh. The plant generates green hydrogen via alkaline electrolysis technology. It is “pure green” in that it is fully independent of the grid. The plant is co-located with a solar project in the state’s Ujjain district. “An existing solar plant of Vivaan Solar was disconnected by Hygenco from the grid and fully reconfigured for the green hydrogen plant.
