NTPC Limited has issued an invitation for bids (IFB) for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a grid-connected battery energy storage system (BESS) with 10 MW and 40 MWh rated AC discharge capacity at a 33KV switchgear interconnection point in Ramagundam, Telangana.The BESS must comprise of battery system, battery management system, energy management system and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system, power conversion system, protection system, communication system, auxiliary power system, monitoring and control system, firefighting, remote control and monitoring, and all other associated materials and accessories necessary for trouble-free operation and maintenance of the BESS system.Successful bidders also must undertake all associated electrical and civil works required for grid interaction.
