While people are struggling to pay high gas prices at the pump, five of the biggest oil companies made $75 billion in profits in 2021, their highest profit in seven years. Oil and gas companies CEOs are using every chance they can to gouge prices and line their pockets with profits, fueling the climate crisis. The best way for America to lower costs and be truly energy independent is to increase the production of clean energy and renewable sources.
