Youth’s active participation for clean energy development needed: govt

Jakarta (ANTARA) – Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Arifin Tasrif invites Indonesia’s young generation to actively participate in developing clean energy in order to reduce carbon emissions and increase the energy mix in Indonesia.”We cannot harvest if we do not plant and fertilize the land. For this reason, we urge our young generation to support our program towards clean energy development, especially for our country,” Tasrif noted at the G20 Youth Forum Energy Transitions monitored here Friday.Tasrif later highlighted that Indonesia had abundant natural resources, with its fossil energy to various forms of new and renewable energy sources.
