The Toyota Mirai is India’s first hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV). The sedan was unveiled by Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, who also confirmed that Toyota’s recently debuted Camry Hybrid (the sole Camry model marketed in India) will be flex-fuel compatible in the near future. The Mirai is the company’s flagship FCEV, and it was introduced as a pilot project with the goal of promoting green hydrogen as a viable future fuel.
