BATAVIA — The county Planning Board Thursday evening recommended disapproval of a site plan, special use permit and variances for two solar energy systems at 8244 Batavia Stafford Townline Rd. in Stafford.One of the systems Robert and Michelle Wood are seeking approval for a 31-acre, 5-megawatt, ground mounted commercial system at their residence.This proposed project includes installing 831 freestanding, tracking solar tables.
