An alliance between EEP Africa and ARE forge clean energy path

Cooperation between Energy and Environment Partnership Trust Fund (EEP Africa) and the Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE) sets out to support decentralised renewable energy stakeholders.

The Memorandum of Understanding between EEP Africa and ARE sets out the organisations’ shared goals to address the barriers within the clean energy sector across Southern and East Africa. Both organisations are committed to promoting social and economic development by increasing the share of renewable energies in the energy mix in the region.

Jussi Viding, Fund Manager of EEP Africa, and David Lecoque, CEO of ARE hold their respective copies of the signed Memorandum of Understanding.
