ALTON – On Tuesday, members of the Illinois Clean Jobs Coalition are hosting a webinar about the right to self-generate solar energy in Illinois.The event will explore barriers electric customers face in municipal and cooperative territories to self-generation and how these municipalities and cooperatives can adopt policies that recognize the benefits of solar energy.
The moderator will be Kari Lydersen of Energy News Network with speakers: John Delurey, Vote Solar; Michelle Knox, WindSolarUSA Inc.; and MeLena Hessel, Environmental Law & Policy Center.
