Kulara Water solar energy system completed

Mineral water producer Kulara Water has completed the installation of a solar energy system complete with on-site battery storage at its Siem Reap bottling plant.
The installation was completed on January 3 this year in conjunction with France’s ‘supermajor’ oil and energy company TotalEnergies, which had been commissioned to design, install and operate the solar energy system and storage batteries.
The partnership between TotalEnergies  and Kulara  Water will remain effective for 15 years to ensure safe ongoing energy production and storage.
The system,  designed to improve Kulara Water’s energy efficiency, reduce power costs and ensure better access to power supply, includes an on-site 650 kilowatt-peak ground-mounted solar system connected to an 896 kilowatt-hours  battery system.”
